Today, my college career came to an end when I handed in my last final exam. I didn't expect to feel this way, but I am completely overtaken by happiness. And lucky for me, it just happens to be the most beautiful day, so bright and warm, the first day like this all year.
Graduating college always seemed like a normal thing in life and I never thought that it would be all that special since it was expected. But I have to admit, it's brought such a sense of relief and accomplishment to have finally made it to the end. I am so grateful when I look back at the road that has lead me to today and am even more excited for what is to come.
Today was filled with pure joy and that's not something I have been able to say often lately or rather at all. I even got myself a surprise and I definitely am beginning to appreciate the little things in life. I've been looking forward to slowing it down and enjoying every simple moment. Thank you for making me smile. Thank you for today.
